Established in 1986, the Architecture program at the School is the earliest program of its kind in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. It boasts the strongest overall academic strength in the region and is the first architecture program in Guangxi to pass the National Undergraduate Education Evaluation for Architecture. The program has been selected as a Guangxi First-Class Undergraduate Program Construction Site.

     Architecture is a discipline that focuses on the design and research of the built environment, including individual buildings and architectural complexes. Guided by a holistic philosophy integrating humanities, science, and art, the program aims to cultivate interdisciplinary professionals in architectural design and research. Graduates are equipped with social responsibility, professional ethics, design theories, practical skills, aesthetic judgment, creative thinking, broad perspectives, teamwork, and leadership abilities. They are well-versed in concepts of sustainable development and cultural heritage preservation, capable of engaging in design, research, teaching, and management within the field of architecture.

     Graduates of this program primarily find employment in architectural design firms, educational and research institutions, real estate enterprises, and government-related departments. Their career paths include architectural design, urban design and planning, teaching and research, as well as project development and management.
